_Challenging Cases - NEW for 2012
At the GSOP meeting is an hour long time slot on Saturday that will be dedicated to challenging case presentations.
This forum has shown to be very successful, educational, and eye opening at several other medical conferences including the Association of Children's Orthotic and Prosthetic Conference.
However, it is only successful with YOUR help! We need submissions of your challenging cases. Each presentation will be limited to 7 minutes and should consist of the following:
This type of presentation is designed to encourage interaction from the audience and purely as an educational tool.
There will only be 6 slots available for presentations in order for there to be discussion time after all the cases are presented.
if you have a case that you would like to have considered for the presentation, please submit a brief abstract of your case to Cindy Zenas by January 11, 2012.
Thank you and you will be notified by January 18th if your case has been selected.
If you have any questions regarding the format please contact Marc Kaufman, LPO.

Dear Exhibitor: The Georgia Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists is pleased to extend this invitation for you to exhibit at the next scheduled meeting on February 9th-11th in Atlanta, Georgia. This meeting will again be held at The Westin Atlanta North at Perimeter, which is located in the Perimeter Mall area, just 30 minutes north of the airport and 10 minutes from Buckhead. In response to vendor feedback as well as input from a new advisory panel, we have implemented changes designed to optimize your meeting experience. This year, the program includes 2 hours of unopposed exhibit time on Friday as well as 1 hour 30 minutes on Saturday. Also, we have again planned a private party at 300 Atlanta Bowling Center. We hope you enjoy this unique opportunity to socialize with attendees in a relaxed, fun-filled setting. http://www.3hundred.com/atlanta.html Bowling Event Sponsorship(s) We have also changed the sponsorship levels. There is a two tier level sponsorship for the bowling event. The lead sponsorship level will be a “Bowling Event Transportation Sponsor”. There is only one sponsorship spot available (opportunity to provide signage on the bus). This funding will provide transportation from the hotel to the bowling alley. The second level is the lane sponsorships. There are seven lane sponsors spots available. In addition to the benefits outlined below, exhibitors who sponsor the bowling event will also have the option of choosing their table(s) placement. A diagram of the table layout will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration. Benefits will include:
Golf Tournament The GSOP golf tournament will be held Thursday, February 9th at Stone Mountain Golf Club, located in one of the most popular attractions in the Southeast.
